Happy 2019! Wow that feels odd saying that in the beginning of March but I’m the one to blame! After Christmas I disappeared for a bit, no other reason than the fact I was busy and just didn’t have any time to give my blog some attention. But I’ll try and talk you through everything in order so it doesn’t get confusing. If you have previously read my blog posts before, then you would’ve known that I left university and I came back home to the Isle of Wight to try and settle my head a bit and figure out what plan B was. I got my old job back at Topshop at beginning of December which was great because I weirdly missed not working there and of course, earning some money! December pretty much whizzed past but cut the story short, I had the most wonderful Christmas with my family and had a super fun night celebrating the new year!
Next thing you know it’s 2019 and everyone is sharing all their new year resolutions and feeling miserable because it’s January. Throughout the month of January I was still working at Topshop but I was also looking for other jobs elsewhere for me to leave the Isle of Wight. Near the end of January, my new job was all confirmed and my room in the flat was also all sorted. Beginning of February we had some snow and I also had my 21st birthday (YAYA) which was great! When my birthday was over I didn’t have long until I had to move so I was packing like crazy. I honestly didn’t realise how much crap I had in my room so it took me a while to sort everything out. So middle of February I moved to my little room in a shared flat in London to start my new job. So my new job is at Topshop Marble Arch as a Team Leader, which is super exciting but also so nerve wracking at the same time haha. I must sound like such an idiot for saying this but my god working full time is DRAINING. Back on the Isle of Wight I used to work 20 hours a week so majority of the time I did 4 hour shifts five times a week which meant I had loaaaads of spare time but now, nah not gonna happen. It’s been a real struggle to adjust to everything, not only moving out of home and a new job, but also time managing everything my life now haha. I’m getting there, gradually. But yeah, that’s pretty much about it really!
