I can’t quite believe that it is October already and we are having to dig out our jumpers and boots to wear. I myself am a huge fan of the colder season but I know most people miss the warm sunshine and summer outfits. A lot of people tend to struggle with styling pieces together when the temperature starts to drop and their mind just goes blank for any inspiration. Well the answer for me to give to you is co-ordinates. There are some really lovely Autumnal co-ords out at the moment which could just make getting dressed in the morning a little bit more easier! Silly as it sounds, when you put on a co-ordinate majority of the outfit is done. So all that’s left to finish is maybe a top, shoes and accessories.
For shoes, chunky trainers are still an ‘in thing’ and can be found on 99% of highstreet websites. Styling your co-ord with chunky trainers is not only super comfy but also just makes the outfit look quite cool and edgy. Yes I said the word edgy lol. Understandably as the temperature will begin to drop even more, you little footsies may not be warm enough in trainers. If this is the case, then I would personally choose Dr Marten boots or a classic heeled boot (which is comfortable and easy to walk in).
Of course accessories are all dependent on the colour/pattern you are wearing but obviously you know the basics, if it’s a bright busy co-ord then pair it with something simple and vica versa etc. In the images below I am wearing a camel coloured suit which has a thin pale blue pinstripe all the way down. I wanted to try and keep with the colour palette so I wore neural coloured trainers and my dark brown mini bag. Literally every time I have worn a co-ordinate, I always wear a white tee. If you’ve been following me for a while, on either here or my Instagram then you will know I am a white tee lover and have a very large questionable amount of them in my wardrobe. As Winter will be soon approaching us, I will sadly be replacing my t-shirts with long sleeve polo necks to keep me warm.
I had a quick browse on ASOS and Topshop and picked out a few co-ords which I think are a A/W must have. I didn’t check PLT or Missguided but they will definitely have lots of options too. But yes, below are a few of my sections so if you like any of them, just click on the picture and it’ll take you to the website page.
