Okay so what is going on here? We are currently in the middle of March and we have snow again. I’m sorry to say this but I’m over it. Literally all I want is it to warm up, the flowers to start growing everywhere and for me to wear skirts with no tights. Is that too much to ask for? I used to love winter fashion and I still do. Nothing beats the monday morning of trying to decide what boots to wear to take on the day. Or trying to choose what coat is the warmest but yet still fashionable. It’s been a good five or six months of this cold weather now and to be honest I’m getting bored of it. I want the sun to start shining and plants to grow colourful and for me to have an iced coffee and not freeze to death afterwards and regret my decision. Spring, please hurry up. Also, after re-reading what I have just typed, I genuinely just asked the question, ‘Are you even English if you don’t moan about the weather?’. So true.
I risked the cold today by wearing just a t-shirt and a coat. Boy did I regret that. I was trying to stand my ground and convince myself that spring was near, yes even though I’m surrounded by snow, I thought I could trick my mind into thinking it was warming than it actually was. FYI, my ‘theory’ or ‘tactic’ did not work. I was kindly gifted tee from an online shop called Tricky Ink. I am seriously in love with some of their designs, especially this one. Does it get any better than having two heart nipples? I don’t think so! The t-shirts are priced at £6 which I think is an absolute bargain, and surprisingly for that price, the quality is really good! Here’s the link to the one I’m wearing. For reference, I’m wearing a size S. They do come up quite big, but sometimes what I do is cut them myself to the length I want. Or in this case, I literally tied it at the back with a hairband, tucked it under the top and then I just tucked the front into my jeans!
This is not a sponsored post, genuinely like this outfit and t-shirt!
My monday hasn’t actually consisted of anything too much. I woke up pretty early, got breakfast, which may I add I LOVE cookie crisp cereal. I’m also currently watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S from the beginning so I’m ploughing my way through them. (I’m on series 8 at the moment. Starting to get sad because I know it’ll be coming to an end soon.) So I sat in bed with my cereal watching that and also researched a load of blog stuff. I feel really motivated and dedicated at the moment to put full effort into this blog so (hopefully) there will be lots of posts coming the next few months. Mother and I went for a drive seeing as the roads were all clear from the snow. We went for a lovely lunch together, if you didn’t see my Instagram picture I had Eggs Florentine which they actually stopped serving at 12 (we arrived at 1) due to it being on the Brunch menu, but I was extremely lucky that the chef said he would be happy to make it. Fun fact: I fricken love eggs florentine. It is my favourite breakfast.
As I’m going to university this year I’m really going to miss spending time with mum so any free days together we are trying to make the most of them. So today was really nice to spend it with her. Unfortunately, I’m not much of an exciting person so I came home and had a cup of tea and napped for about an hour and a half. I then walked my little gracie (my dog) and it is currently 8.50pm in the evening, and I’m going to grab another bowl of cereal (don’t judge) and watch Made In Chelsea as that is one of my TV guilty pleasures. I hope you all have had a great monday!

I love this look! I’ve ordered a few shirts from Tricky Ink before and think they’re so simple but with some really cute designs. Also, exciting times on going to uni this year! Where are you hoping to study?

Thank you so much! Yeah I really love the Tricky Ink tees, especially as they are so affordable. I’m so scared about going to Uni! But at the moment I have an unconditional for Middlesex, and then I’m still waiting to hear back from the others!
