When bodysuits started coming into shops, I never really understood the whole fuss over them. I saw three problems – one: It basically just looks like a top tucked in. Two: If I’m feeling bloated then it’s going to be more noticeable. Three: If they aren’t a thong bottom then you’ll see the pant line from the body under your jeans. So in that case I never bought one. Until last week. As you may have read or seen on my instagram, it was my boyfriend’s birthday two days ago, (If you want to read the post about his birthday celebrations then click here) so I was in panic mode because I wanted something nice to wear and of course, looking through my wardrobe I was stressing out and screaming the house down saying I have no clothes. (Most girls will have experienced this and understand how stressful it is.) I thought I would try this on and within five minutes I had bought it and was walking out Topshop feeling slightly more happier.
I am aware you can see the outline of my bra, I apologise. If you have slightly bigger boobs you could possibly get away with just wearing nipple covers, but some people like me may have small boobies and have to wear a padded bra. But meh it’s not the end of the world seeing your bra line. One thing I really love about this body suit, obviously the colour, but also the keyhole on the front. If your feeling the slightly more ‘sexier’ look then you can open up the keyhole (trying not to sound rude phaha) a bit more or you can keep it closed like in the pictures just so that it shows a little bit of the chest.
It’s no big shocker that a girl love handbags. I have tons, yet I continue to buy more. This little one is from New Look but I bought it from the ASOS website. It is £9.99. Shall I just repeat that again? £9.99! I love a bargain so I was sold! But in all seriousness, it is very practical (that’s what I told myself to justify buying it lol). The bag actually has a kind of zig zag quilted pattern on the front, but I wear it backwards so it just shows the plain black side. It also has two zip compartments which is really useful. This sort of bag is always handy to have and is great for using when your going on trips or shopping because you can just chuck on your shoulder or across your body and it secures everything away safely. The pom pom keyring was not included with the bag unfortunately – I bought it from Primark a few weeks ago.
And then of course, my trust worthy leather jacket was worn over the top because it’s starting to get rather chilly!

I have the exact same three issues with bodysuits and am yet to buy one. However, I absolutely adore this one! I love the colour and design of it, as well as how you’ve styled it with the rest of the outfit x

If you ever get the chance, you should definitely try it on in the shop and give it a go! x
