If you follow me on Instagram (link here if you want to check it out!) then you may have noticed a certain print that I am loving… you guessed right, leopard print. I always feel like my inner Pat Butcher is coming out of me when I wear this print, but hey, I don’t think it’s a bad thing. This cardigan is life. I love love love the electric blue against the khaki green, which makes it even more bolder. They did stock it in petite, normal and tall and it seems as if they have sold pretty well. There is only a few sizes left in the petite version available (here is the link). For size reference, I am wearing a normal UK size 10. I would have normally got a size 6, and probably got it in petite but I wanted it to be quite baggy and long to kind of make it look like a vintage cardigan I got from a charity/thrift shop.
Here are a few more leopard knits that are on my wish list!
Again how could I not wear this body. It is a simple key piece and goes with anything. Square necklines are a lot more easy to find now as a lot of stores have released items in this style, i.e Boohoo, Miss Guided. I would personally buy the one from Topshop (here) just as I feel like it would be a much better quality and slightly thicker than some other stores may make it. Biased? Maybe. But you can’t blame me. They do this body in quite a few more colours, including two options in lace and two options in velvet. Spoilt for choice I think so. It’s kind of clear you need to jump on the bandwagon if you haven’t already!
Obvious reasons I am wearing my straight leg jeans. How could I not? One thing I am super excited about is for when it starts getting really cold, I can wear my straight leg jeans and chuck on a thick knitted baggy jumper and that’s my outfit done. My love for skinny jeans will never die, and I will still wear them but recently I’m really into wearing these jeans and my Mom style. I think it’s the fact I feel like aI’m mixing it up and not wearing the same outfit almost everyday (which is difficult when its cold because all you want to do is throw on jeans and a jumper) so changing the style of jeans can really change the way the outfit looks. Sounds so stupid and I am rambling on but in my head it makes sense haha.
I also said goodbye to my beloved Topshop Mia Ring boots. *BROKEN HEART EMOJI* If you have no recognition of what I am going on about then click here to see a picture. But yes, they weren’t lasting me very well and the leather had aged/worn the way I didn’t want them to and resulted in them going almost crinkled (you can see in the picture I linked). So out with the old and in with the new. Ladies, and maybe some gents (who knows) let me introduce my new babies ‘Marbella’. Leather suede and kick flare heel, what more could ya want? They come in two colours, black and a grey. They are to die for, I love them and I want the grey pair.
