May seem odd to say this but personally I’ve never really liked floral. And if I was to wear floral, I am very picky with the ‘type’ of floral. I literally sound like the most oddest and snobby person but I can get very fussy when it comes to patterns haha. I think it’s because some certain prints can just look cheap, so I like to be careful with which ones I wear. Obviously the dress I am wearing, I love. One of my favourite looks for Autumn would have to be the bare leg and boot look. Some days when it’s still a little bit warm, you can get away with it, so I take full advantage of it. It just looks more chic and that kind of ‘London’ vibe.
Black heeled boots are a necessity for every girls wardrobe. I bought these boots from Topshop about three years ago, and every winter they bring out a new style of them with something slightly different. The ones in the picture are from the first year when they came out, but the newest style is on website here. They are real leather so they last well and are ridiculously comfy.
As you all saw a few blog posts ago, the coat I’m wearing is my new loved winter baby. The jacket is from Urban Outfitters (here) and is probably my most favourite buy. It goes with everything which is amazing but also bad because that means I want to wear it with every outfit haha.
Two essentials for me everyday is my hoop earrings and my round frame sunglasses. I feel naked without wearing these two. Hoops you can buy anywhere, but I get mine from Topshop (these ones), but that’s purely because I work there and I just constantly walk past them so I cba to find anywhere else which will sell them haha. My sunglasses were originally from Topshop too during the summer, but as they were so popular I’m guessing they sold out online so aren’t available to buy anymore but I found a similar pair from Miss Guided here for you!
The dress is from Topshop (here), sadly they only do it in petite at the moment, but keep an eye out as they may bring it out in tall and normal. I really love the colours on the dress against the black which is why it stood out for me. The other thing that drew me to it was the frills. The frills on the sleeves and the bottom is SO cute. It makes it look quite girly so I like to ‘roughen’ / ‘rock’ it up with my boots! The great thing with this dress though is that I can still wear it in the winter with black tights as it wont be too contrasting. Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer, I’m ready for you with this dress.
